This role will involve working on administrative tasks related to tax filings and client communications. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and able to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.During your internship, you will experience most, if not all of the following:Assist in preparing and submitting e-file authorizations for client tax returns.Draft and manage client engagement letters, ensuring timely delivery and return.Help maintain and organize tax documents and client records.Create and update open item lists for ongoing client projects.Support the tax team with administrative tasks and special projects as needed.Communicate with clients to gather necessary tax-related documentation and respond to inquiries.Ensure compliance with company policies and confidentiality of sensitive information.Smith & Howard is an equal opportunity employer.
