Looking to work for a leading OEM machinery business offering unique solutions to multiple industries?Open to learning new things & developing high-performance products that are ever-improving?Do you want to be at the forefront of engineering in a business always looking for ways to improve its products & offering to customers?We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys working in a team to work on custom machinery products from concept to manufacturing.What you'll do:Creating & maintaining technical documentation.Working on prototyping, trouble shooting & design improvements.Work closely with customers to interpret requirements into design.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical systems, components, and products.Design using Solidworks to create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings for manufacturing.Optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness while considering regulatory and safety requirements.What you'll need:A background in machinery or tooling.Ideally a background in machining, cutting, grinding & milling.Experience with a 3D CAD software (Solidworks or Inventor)Great communication & background in collaborating with a cross-functional team.Working knowledge of FEA.Experience with GD&T.
