Job Title: Assistant Project Manager - Construction IndustryThe Civi Group is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of large construction projects (ranging from $5M-$20M+) around Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Martha's Vineyard. Project types include residential, commercial, healthcare, and academic builds.Our client, one of the largest General Contractors on Cape Cod, has a robust project pipeline extending into 2026, with over 80% of work sourced from repeat clients.Compensation is based on experience and offers a competitive, Boston-area salary despite being Cape-based"”ideal for someone looking to grow their career without the Boston commute.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Project Manager in overseeing all phases of construction projects from planning to completion.Help in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets while ensuring adherence to project objectives.Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution.Monitor project progress and help identify issues and propose solutions to ensure project milestones are met.Ensure that safety regulations, quality standards, and building codes are adhered to on-site.Maintain project documentation, including contracts, submittals, change orders, and progress reports.Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.At least 2+ years of experience in construction management or a similar role, ideally assisting with projects in the $5M-$20M range.Familiarity with budgeting, procurement processes, and managing project cash flow.Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various project stakeholders.The Civi Group LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
