Single Plaintiff Employment AttorneyCareer Consulting Partners has partnered with an established plaintiff firm that has been in business for over 15 years. We are looking for an Attorney with 2 - 7 years of experience in labor & employment law. You will work to help scale the firm's employment practice, to service the ever-growing number of Californians who have been illegally discriminated against, harassed, unfairly compensated, subjected to an unfair hostile work environment, and/or wrongfully terminated. You will receive assistance from our dedicated team of legal professionals including legal assistants, paralegals, and legal secretaries to efficiently handle your caseload.IDEAL CANDIDATE:Will have experience managing employment claims as it pertains to Medical/Disability Discrimination, Wrongful Termination, Sexual Harassment, Retaliation, Whistleblower, Covid 19 & Workplace Rights, Race & Nationality Discrimination, Pregnancy Discrimination, Failure to Pay Wages/Overtime.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Management of cases from pre-litigation through settlement, with the support of a strong staff and advanced automated systems that optimize case efficiency (including CompuLaw, NetDocuments, Clio, and others)Deposition experience is strongly preferred.Excellent research and writing skills requiredDraft correspondence and regularly communicate with clients, experts, and defense counselPrioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.Bring a team-oriented and positive attitude to our Glendale office.QUALIFICATIONS:2 - 7 years of California Civil Litigation experienceJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolActive membership in good standing with the California State barKnowledge of California Civil Procedure and Local Court Rules.Superior time management and multi-tasking skills.Experience with employment disputes including wrongful terminations, FEHA claims, labor code violations, and wage and hour claims.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:Salary/Compensation: $150,000 - $230,000Competitive PTO packagePaid holidaysTeam outings and sponsored events.401K MatchingCompany-paid medical insurance.Paid dental, vision, and life insurance.Free ParkingFIRM INSIGHT:Opportunities for growth and advancementFirm practices Plaintiff Personal Injury and Employment LawMedium Sized Boutique firm with 20 - 30 EmployeesThe firm handles cases in California State Courts and Federal Courts of the Central, Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts of California.LOCATION:Glendale, California (91202)Open to Hybrid ConversationPlease note that we at Career Consulting Partners will be sure to keep your information private.
