Production Supervisor

Our client in Sterling Heights, Michigan is in need of a 2nd Shift Production SupervisorJob Summary:Supervise and manage the operation and maintenance of the plating processes, in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements for a safe working environment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Coordinates weekend solution maintenance Maintains Chemical inventoryMaintains the plating process for plating readiness and part qualityResponsible for ensuring employees follow safety and environmental policies and proceduresIdentifies the root cause of problems and implement permanent, corrective action. Establish good working relationships with plate-related chemical suppliers, vendors and contractors. Additional duties with similar responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.High school diploma or GED Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering (preferred) 3-5 years of experienceBasic Plating KnowledgeSelf-management Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a team environment.Valid Driver's License and Reliable transportation Able to read, write and speak English.Ability to learn, navigate, and use customer specific software.PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Able to stand/walk for the duration of shift (8+ hours)Able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.Able to perform frequent repetitive motionsAble to withstand noisy environmentAble to work at heights inside the facility.
