I am currently working with a leading AM LAW ranked firm, who are actively looking to hire an associate to join their growing Intellectual Property group in Kansas CityKey Responsibilities:Lead and manage intellectual property litigation cases, from pre-litigation strategy to trial and appeals.Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.Provide legal counsel on intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.Collaborate with clients, experts, and other stakeholders to build compelling legal strategies.Stay abreast of changes in intellectual property laws and industry trends.Assist in alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation and arbitration.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active state bar membership and eligibility to practice law in Missouri.2+ years of experience as an Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney, with a strong track record in handling complex IP disputes.In-depth knowledge of intellectual property laws, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.Exceptional analytical, research, and communication skills.Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Benefits:Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.Clear Partnership track.Professional development and training opportunities.Collaborative and inclusive work environment.Hybrid working.
