We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Jr. Graphic Designer with experience in the non-profit direct response space. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in creating designs that captivate and inspire action while adhering to the unique needs of direct response marketing. This role will also require knowledge of pre-press production to ensure final files meet printing requirements and maintain high quality. This artist will work collaboratively with our operations, creative, and account teams to ensure all client work is on brand and meets organizational standards.About Donlon AgencyDonlon Agency is a data-science led, full-service agency that provides strategy, creative development, and implementation for integrated philanthropic programs. We become an extension of our client's internal team to optimize and grow their constituent support "” cost efficiently, on brand, and within organization compliance and capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate visually compelling and action-driven designs for direct mail, email campaigns, landing pages, digital ads, and other marketing collateral, ensuring alignment with the organization's brand, mission and messagingCollaborate with designers and creatives to ensure artwork is accurate and aligned with project goalsManage revisions and approvals with stakeholders, ensuring that changes are implemented efficientlyEnsure all design files are print-ready, meeting the necessary specifications for printing processes, color management, and format, while maintaining a high standard of qualityOversee the preparation of digital assets, including web banners, social media creatives, and email graphicsEnsure digital files are optimized for performance and meet all platform requirementsManage asset delivery to internal and external teams, ensuring timely and accurate distributionMaintain quality control throughout the production process by following an established workflow, ensuring all assets are accurate, error-free, and meet clearly defined brand standards.Knowledge and SkillsProficient knowledge of prepress and printing standards Proficient knowledge of CMYK, RGB, color modes, conversion, tone structure, memory colors, flesh tones and multitone filesA strong, independent work ethic, takes direction well with minimal supervision, welcomes constructive feedback Organization and attention to detail Eagerness for learning and professional development Management of multiple projects and deadlines QualificationsPreferred qualifications include Associate degree or certificate of completion from a two-year program in graphic arts or equivalent on the job experience 3+ years' experience in graphicsSoftware skills include proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and other design-related programs on a MacFamiliarity with fundraising techniques, donor engagement strategies, and the unique needs of non-profit design a plusBenefitsFully remote position20 paid holidays4 weeks of paid vacation time 8 hours of paid volunteer time per monthOne-month paid sabbatical after four years of employmentCompetitive health insurance 401K with 4% match.
