Robot Programmer

This position is with a prominent manufacturing company in the Metro Detroit area. They are seeking a Robot Programmer to join their team as soon as possible. This is a direct hire position and we are looking to interview ASAP! Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Robot Programmer with extensive experience in FANUC robots to join our automation team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on programming experience in industrial robotic systems, with a focus on FANUC, and a strong understanding of automation processes. This role is critical in ensuring that our robotic systems are implemented effectively and meet the technical needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities Develop, modify, and troubleshoot FANUC robot programs for industrial automation applications.Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement robotic systems that optimize production processes.Conduct on-site installations, tests, and commissioning of FANUC robots.Integrate robotic systems with PLCs, HMIs, and other automation equipment.Perform diagnostics and corrective maintenance on robotic systems, including reprogramming and calibration.Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand automation requirements and provide tailored solutions.Provide training and technical support to operators and maintenance personnel on robotic systems.Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all robotic installations and operations. Education Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Automation , or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
