OverviewIXIS is seeking an energetic individual with experience managing information systems, laptops and resolving employee and client support issues to join our dynamic and fast paced team. In this role, you will collaborate with the whole organization but specifically work very closely with the Operations team and CTO to support the rest of the company. This is a part-time, in-person position at our office in Burlington, VT.ResponsibilitiesProvides technical support to users utilizing IXIS's proprietary data platform, troubleshooting problems, and fielding inquiriesHelp configure, maintain and support internal IT systems, including device management, user management, and project management systemsProvision laptops for new hires, configure and distribute to remote colleagues. Manage inventory and support colleagues when there are hardware issuesRespond to client support requests, work closely with the Engineering and Product teams to research and resolve client issuesProactive monitoring of the product, ensuring that nightly jobs completed successfully and accuratelyProvision/deprovision users, manage licenses and ensure that proper security is adhered toConstant evaluation and improvement of the processes and policiesRequired Education and SkillsDemonstrated technical proficiency with computer systems5+ years of experience in a support or help desk role1-2 years of real-world experience with information technology supportExceptional communication skillsCore critical thinking skills, including good problem solvingMust have a strong focus on qualityMust be customer service focusedShould be curious and enjoy solving problemsAdditional Desired SkillsAssociates or higher degree preferredExperience with MDM solutions (JAMF, Intune, Mosyle, etc.)Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, etc.)Experience in a Mac environmentExperience with AWS environmentsPrior information technology or systems administration experience preferredAbout IXISFounded in 2012, IXIS is rooted in innovative processes for data-driven customer experience and strategic planning.
