Position OverviewThe Operating Engineer is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems and equipment, including chillers and boilers, in a facility. This role ensures that all operations comply with regulatory standards and promotes a safe working environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain chillers and boilers to ensure optimal performance.Monitor and control building systems for efficiency and safety.Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all mechanical systems.Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and operational issues.Maintain accurate logs and records of operations and maintenance activities.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.Collaborate with other engineering staff to improve system performance.QualificationsValid Stationary Engineer License.Experience with chillers and boilers operations.Knowledge of mechanical systems and building operations.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.NILUPE certification preferred.BenefitsVacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusRelocationTelecommuteEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
