Structural Steel EstimatorPosition OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Structural Steel Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for structural steel projects, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with project specifications. This role requires a keen understanding of steel fabrication processes and strong analytical skills to produce detailed and comprehensive cost analyses.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed estimates for structural steel and miscellaneous steel projects.Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine project requirements.Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.Maintain and update cost databases to ensure competitive pricing.Review and provide feedback on bid proposals and contracts.Utilize estimating software and tools to streamline the estimating process.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.3+ years of experience in steel fabrication estimating.Strong knowledge of structural steel and miscellaneous steel.Proficiency in estimating software, such as Tekla and Bluebeam, is a plus.Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.BenefitsLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
