Sylvania Ave Toledo, Ohio 43613Warehouse LeadThe Warehouse Lead is responsible for all aspects of shipping, receiving, delivery, inventory, logistics, safety, and leadership within our warehouse in Toledo, Ohio. Ultimately, these essential duties must be accomplished in a timely, efficient, and safe manner, while maintaining the proper balance between customer satisfaction and operating expense.Monday - Friday: Shift may start as early as 5 am, with changing end time. 8-10-hour days.Ideal candidate available flexible scheduling with rotating start/end time to meet business demand.This position supports main warehouse with cross training for bulk oil plant on Laskey and may perform some or all the essential duties listed below at location.Essential Duties:ShippingResponsible for multiple shipping functions throughout the warehouse. This includes the proper loading of trucks, making determinations regarding alternative shipping methods, routing of delivery runs, and the routing of special (red carpet) delivery runs.Receiving: Responsible for receiving oil and lubricant products into the warehouse. This includes the scheduling of incoming product, unloading of trucks, storage and placement of product, and accurate receiving counts.DeliveryResponsible for customer satisfaction with all delivery related services. This includes proper delivery of product, safe operation of vehicles, generating maps and directions, pick-up of product to be returned to STO (tires, drums, batteries), and customer relations.InventoryResponsible for maintaining timely and accurate inventory counts on all product lines.Logistics: Responsible for assisting Warehouse Manager with logistics management throughout STO and its subsidiaries. This includes an overall knowledge of all distribution methods and routes (internal and external), and continuous evaluation and improvement of distribution efficiencies.SafetyAssist with training and safe operation of all warehouse equipment including forklifts, carts, and vehicles. Safe product handling and loading will continue to be stressed and monitored.TeamworkSupport Warehouse Manager supervising loading crew, assisting drivers, and leading shipping and receiving efforts. Responsibility includes participation in regular meetings to increase communication, and training.Loading/Unloading: Responsible for the proper loading and unloading of the delivery trucks.Bulk Oil Plant Support: responsible for loading/unloading of tanker trucks. Minimum of drivers license with CDL B preferred.Proficient computer skills preferred (Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook)Must be flexible with work schedule to open/close the warehouse 2-3 days per week and cover vacations.Ability to fill in as a driver when needed.Commit to keeping the warehouse well-organized.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift 75-100 pounds.The environment for this position is a warehouse, with seasonal temperature extremes, dirt, dust, and unclean environments.Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and driving (forklifts) are the norm.Occasional crouching, kneeling, sitting, and squatting are expected.
