Head of Marketing & Demand Generation New York (Hybrid) Reports to: Chief Executive OfficerLevel: Vice President The Company: 1 Capital Markets CRM SaaS platformUsed by brokers, investment banks, and researchers Multi-award-winning business Headquartered in London, UK The Role: We need a growth-focussed VP of Marketing to lead and scale our marketing efforts, with a primary focus on generating marketing qualified leads (MQLs) from the financial services and capital markets sectors. This person will help to build a high-performing marketing function that can execute our growth strategy and deliver our revenue goals. The ideal candidate will be a marketing visionary with and a proven ability to execute demand generation strategies. They will have a strong background in SaaS marketing and extensive experience with financial services, capital markets and sell-side customers. Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive MQLs within banks, brokers, and IRPsBuild, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team with a focus on data-driven growthCollaborate closely with the Sales, Product, and Executive teams to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and business objectivesOwn demand generation and digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, email campaigns, webinars, and events (hosted and third party)Define and manage marketing KPIs, using data analytics to track and optimise campaign performanceLead brand positioning and thought leadership initiatives in the capital markets spaceDrive product marketing initiatives, including market research, competitive analysis, and product messagingManage relationships with external vendors, including PR agencies, content providers, and design teamsManage our website assets and our customer portal Qualifications:10+ years of marketing experience in SaaS or technology companies, with a focus on demand generation and lead nurturingExperience in capital markets, financial services, or a related industry is a strong plusProven track record of driving MQLs through data-driven marketing strategiesDemonstrated ability to build and scale marketing functions in a high-growth environmentStrong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teamsExperience targeting North American, European, and Asian marketsExperience working with a marketing tech stack that includes CRM, marketing automation, web analytics, social scheduling and project managementExcellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong analytical mindset, with experience using marketing automation tools and CRM platforms
