Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ERP/EDI Business Analystto join our supply chain team. The ERP/EDI Business Analystis responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users for desktop hardware, software, and peripherals. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop systems and ensuring optimal performance and security.Responsibilities:System Maintenance and Upgrades:Perform regular system maintenance tasksCollaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to supply chain operations.User Support and Training:Provide technical support to end-users, addressing system-related queries, issues, and concerns promptly and effectively.Assist in training supply chain personnel on system functionalities, processes, and best practices.Develop user guides, manuals, and training materials to facilitate system understanding and adoption.Process Management and Optimization:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and create business requirements, identifying areas for improvement and increased efficiency.Apply process improvement methodologies to streamline workflows, eliminate waste, and enhance overall operational effectiveness.Propose and implement process automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.System Enhancements and Testing:Work closely with stakeholders to understand their system requirements and translate them into functional specifications.Participate in system development projects, assisting with system design, testing, and implementation.Conduct thorough testing of new system functionalities and enhancements to ensure their reliability and compatibility with existing infrastructure.Data Analysis and Reporting:Utilize data from the supply chain systems to conduct analysis and generate insights related to operational performance, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.Work with key stake holders to develop and maintain reports and dashboards that provide visibility into key supply chain metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making.Identify opportunities for data-driven improvements in supply chain processes and present recommendations to stakeholders.GeneralProves ability to solve problems creatively.Participates in identifying, planning and executing financial/business process improvement initiatives.Performs quantitative analysis of operational and financial data.Performs ad hoc analysis for business partners and senior management as required.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements:Proven experience in system support or administration, preferably in a supply chain environment.Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and systems.Experience in analyzing and optimizing processes using process improvement methodologies. Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving system issues.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and propose effective solutions.Familiarity with system integration methodologies, data mapping, and data exchange protocols (e.g., EDI, API).Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide user support.Proficient with creating flow charts and documenting business processes.Previous Deacom ERP experience preferred.Education and/or Experience:BA/BS in appropriate technical field5+ years of accounting or financial planning and analysis experience including use of standard costing EDI setup, migration, and integration with 3PL's and partnersExperience with SPS Commerce and EDICTJoining our team as an ERP/EDI Business Analyst will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the optimization of our operations through effective system maintenance, process management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
