By largely bypassing the court system, Hello Divorce saves clients up to 90% of the average divorce cost, completing the process in about a third of the time.Part-time Role DescriptionWe're looking for a meticulous and organized Document Specialist to support our Account Management team in managing clients' confidential documentation and filing divorce cases with courts nationwide. This high-importance, entry-level role is a perfect fit if you want to make an impact at a rapidly growing legal tech startup. You'll play a key part in ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of legal documents, helping to shape a more accessible divorce process for all. ResponsibilitiesMaintain records of incoming and outgoing mail, tracking delivery and receiptReceive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packagesProcess outgoing mail and ensure it is sent out promptly and accuratelyPrepare legal documents for filing with the court, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedural requirementsFile documents with the court in a timely manner, following specific guidelines and protocols, including any feedback provided by the Account Management teamMonitor and maintain inventory of office supplies related to mail processing and filing dutiesMaintain confidentiality and security of all documents handled in-officeRequirementsProficiency in basic computer applications (e.g. Google Drive suite and document management systems)Reliable vehicle for commuting to and from post officeExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in document handling and filing Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectivelyProven experience in a similar role (legal, government, etc)High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in legal / paralegal studies, or related field is a plusAttributesPunctual and reliableStrong interpersonal and communication skills (this is primarily an internal role - not customer facing - but you'll be supporting a mission driven team who rely on you to be responsive and willing to ask questionsAbility to maintain composure under pressure and meet deadlinesCommitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive informationApplication processSubmit resume to shelley.vanrenselaar@.
