Long Island Center for Recovery is a fifty six-bed inpatient substance use treatment facility located in Hampton Bays, New York.Job Summary: Counselor will act as ancillary support to clinical and multi-disciplinary treatment team, providing substance use oriented treatment services. Counselor will provide said services in both individual and group settings.Job Responsibilities: Counselor will participate in regular staff/case conference meetingsCounselor will complete psychosocial, and various other assessmentsCounselor will assist in formulating person-centered treatment plansCounselor will assist in discharge planning processCounselor will assist in family oriented psychoeducation and counselingCounselor will commit to providing clinical coverage for Primary Counselors
