JOB DESCRIPTION:We are looking for a competent International Logistics Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations of our company. You will be the one to coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective project management of shipments. A great asset for a LogisticsCoordinator is their communication and negotiation skills. They are well-versed in supply management principles and practices.The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities, above-average attention to detail, and a customer-oriented approach. The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and monitor supply chain operationsEnsure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectivelyUtilize logistics IT to optimize proceduresRecruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g. truck drivers, airlines) according to availabilities and requirementsSupervise your own shipments as assignedCommunicate with suppliers, vendors, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfactionPrice, plan and track the shipmentsSkillsProven experience as logistics coordinator requiredExperience in customer service will be appreciatedAbility to work with little supervision and track multiple processesComputer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics softwareOutstanding organizational and coordination abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust be US CITIZEN as most of our shipments are US GOV/MIL.Ops position is hybrid, 2 Days per week In Office/3 Days per week WFH.Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO
