Geopros, Inc. is currently seeking a Site Superintendent for a client based in the Reno, NV area. The Superintendent will be based in Reno but will be asked to travel to worksites throughout the Northern Nevada area as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience supervising and executing projects within the residential or industrial construction industries. Roles & Responsibilities:The Superintendent is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of construction projects acknowledging a safety-first culture. They ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing a team of construction workers, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to achieve project goals.The Superintendent is responsible for field operations in assigned areas or aspects of the project delegated by the General Superintendent.Safety First - Compliance: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture.Ensure that all workers and subcontractors adhere to safety regulations and guidelines.Conduct safety meetings and inspections regularly.Work with Safety Manager on compliance, corrections, or implementations.Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project execution.Have a complete understanding of project documents (plans, specifications, addendums, scope of work, change orders, jurisdictional agency inspection and requirements, etc.) needed to execute the project.Work with Foreman and Project Manager to plan and organize activities on construction projects.Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines through participation with Project Manager. Maintain a 3-week Lookahead schedule updated weekly and turned in at Field Execution meeting.Identify equipment, labor, and materials needed for task on hand and make sure they are available in a timely manner to complete the project successfully.Supervision: Direct and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and other personnel involved on assigned construction projects.Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets or exceeds industry and company quality standards, producing high quality workmanship.Perform inspections and address any issues promptly.Ensure that all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.Obtain necessary permits and approvals for the project in collaboration with the Project Manager.Leadership and Resource Management: Manage equipment, materials, labor, and subcontractor resources efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize project delays.Coordinate and procure materials and equipment as needed.Assign tasks and responsibilities to the construction team.Provide leadership and guidance to resolve conflicts or issues among team members.Budget Management: Monitor project costs and work to keep the project within budget.Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.Communicate any scope or schedule changes, which are in addition to contractual obligations, to the Project Manager.Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with assigned personnel, clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.Report project status, issues, and progress to General Superintendent.Problem Solving: Identify and address any issues or challenges that arise during construction, such as design changes, unforeseen conditions, or delays.Documentation: Keep accurate records of project progress, expenses, and any changes to the project scope.Complete daily logs both internally and externally as required.Provide input of crew member, equipment, and transport needs per location to Dispatch. No later than 1PM, daily, for outside trucking, and by 2PM, daily, for internal crew, equipment, and trucking.Training and Development: Train and mentor construction personnel, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their jobs effectively.Provide leadership and motivation to all field crew members.Identify field personnel for future consideration on additional roles and responsibilities.Company Representation: Represent the company in a professional manner, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude when dealing with clients, colleagues, and the public.Job Details: Reports to the General SuperintendentSalary range from $95k to $125kCompany vehicle and gas cardMedical benefits, etc.Paid PTO / Sick
