Their products include a wide selection including power and manual wheelchairs, walkers, bathroom safety equipment, ramps, vertical lifts, stair lifts and vehicle lifts.Position OverviewThe Access Technician is responsible for a wide range of mechanical and assembly work, including maintenance and repair of automotive and home equipment. Tasks will include assembly, maintenance and delivery of seating and mobility positioning systems including wheelchairs, home ramps, vehicle lifts and other mobility solutions. This position reports directly to the Access Manager.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities & Qualifications:Provides high level of customer service at all times Responsible for assembly, repair and delivery of all products and equipment Responsible for service calls as needed in the office and in the field Responsible for some evening and weekend support according to on-call schedules Responsible for instructing patients on proper use of care of equipment Must maintain high level of product knowledge on all provided equipment Responsible for all paperwork to be signed, completed accurately Responsible for maintaining the physical and mechanical condition of his/her assigned company vehicle and/or work area Responsible for any additional assignments requested by the Access Manager, President or any other Manager Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function of the job Must complete 10 hours of continuing education credits, relevant to this positionMinimum QualificationsGraduate from an accredited High School, or GED equivalent Previous technical and/or production experience Basic computer skills and knowledge Must be able to lift heavy items regularly Good communication skills Must be able to read and speak English fluently Responsible and cooperative attitude Neat and clean personal appearance License and registrationPreferred QualificationsPrior home health care experiencePhysical RequirementsIn an 8-hour day, the employee lifts/carries 150 lbs. frequently In an 8-hour day, the employee stands/walks 2 hours In an 8-hour day, the employee sits 6 hours In an 8-hour day, the employee drives a car/truck 6 hoursWhat We OfferMy client provides a range of benefits to meet your current and future needs.
