We are seeking a committed and passionate General Education teacher to join our team and make a difference in the lives of our students.Job Description:The General Education Teacher will create tailored instruction in Humanities, Math, and Science. This role involves instructing and supporting all students in the classroom in order to achieve success. The General Education teacher may also be working in an ICT classroom, collaborating with a Special Education teacher. We are currently seeking teachers for all grades for the 24-25 school year.General responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Work collaboratively with grade teamsDeliver engaging, academically rigorous tailored instructionEngage and participate in teacher growth and evaluation processBuild strong classroom culture and community with all stakeholdersManage classroom behavior and monitor student goalsAttend and actively participate all professional development and collaborative meetingsUtilize data for instructionAble to inspire and motivate studentsKnowledge of current educational practices and methodologiesQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Elementary Education or a related fieldAt least two years of teaching experience strongly preferredNew York State teacher certification in Childhood Education (Birth-2, Grades 1-6) strongly preferredStrong organizational skills and communication skills that contribute to collaboration as well as the willingness to participate in professional developmentBCS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
