Medical Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY:We are looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. In this essential role, you will provide high-quality nursing care under the guidance of healthcare providers, the clinic nurse manager, and both RNs and LPNs. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our mission to deliver exceptional patient care.QUALIFICATIONS:Current North Dakota State registration as a UAP Medical Assistant.Registration or certification as a Medication Assistant III through the ND Board of Nursing.CPR certification required within the orientation period.Ongoing Point of Care certifications as needed for your department.Completion of relevant training as a Medical Assistant.A minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.Previous experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable.Familiarity with medical coding is a plus.Special Skills and Training:Ability to travel to satellite locations as required.Proficiency in computer use for patient records and documentation.Opportunity to participate in the Convenient Care weekend schedule at Minot Clinics.Join our compassionate team and play a crucial role in enhancing patient care in our community.
