LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Estate Administration Paralegal in Roseland, NJ. The ideal candidate must excel in managing case files from inception to completion, demonstrating comprehensive understanding of estate administration. This opportunity is direct hire, full time (9:30AM - 6:00PM), and onsite in Roseland.ResponsibilitiesPrepare drafts of Probate documents for attorneys; applications, motions, notices, and inventoriesFile pleadings and hearing documentsCommunicate with court staff and clientsPrepare correspondence; meet with clients to notarize, witness, and sign documents, and ensure all deadlines are metPrepare Federal and state estate and inheritance tax returnsPrepare estate and trust accountingsPrepare appropriate release documents for estate distributions and assist with transfers of estate property to beneficiariesContinuously review and update case progress, determine case closure, and keep matters moving seamlesslyAssist in keeping staff, attorneys, and clients on taskAssist in preparing Elder Law, Guardianship, and Business Incorporation documentsPrepare drafts of Estate Planning documents for attorneys; Wills, various Trusts, and disability planning documentsQualifications5+ years of experience as an Estate Administration Paralegal or similar supporting a legal practice requiredProficiency with Word, Excel, and Kofax [Adobe]; knowledge of ONESOURCE or other estate tax return software a plusExpert ability to manage case files from inception to completion, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the entire estate administration processStrong research, analytical, and critical-thinking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with diverse attorneys, staff, and clientsExcellent grammar, proofreading, and English composition skillsSalary up to $95,000
