This is a fully remote position in the Columbia, South Carolina area.Position Title: Account ExecutiveReports to: Sales ManagerPosition Summary: The Account Executive plays a pivotal role in driving Wahsega's strategic growth initiatives within the K-12 school market. This individual will develop and implement a comprehensive territory strategy, focusing on cultivating strong relationships with school districts and establishing a robust integration partner sales channel. The Account Executive will conduct in-person meetings with key district-level personnel to engage in initial discovery discussions, provide product demonstrations, and conduct site walkthroughs to address their most significant challenges. School district personnel seek a local trusted advisor to guide them through the entire process"”from the initial meeting to the purchase of our solution"”providing the Account Executive with the opportunity to manage the process from start to finish. A crucial aspect of this role is the ability to forge strong, enduring relationships with our customers, establish credibility among their peers, and drive positive brand awareness and momentum within your region for years to come. BDRs with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply and will be considered for this role.BENEFITS:Wahsega is committed to offering competitive benefits to meet the needs of you and your family with full health, dental, vision, and 401k plans.Every Wahsega employee enjoys three weeks of paid vacation each yearWahsega reimburses all business expenses including mileage on every bi-weekly paycheck via direct deposit.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:The Account Executive will develop and implement a territory strategy aimed at capturing key market share over the next four years and beyond, leveraging individual prospecting efforts, referrals, and the local integration partner channel.Foster strategic partnerships with public school district executives and key decision-makers to drive sales growth while meeting customer needs and expectations.Schedule in-person discovery meetings through your prospecting efforts, including cold calling and emailing, as well as through collaboration with integration partners and responses to marketing campaigns.The in-person discovery meetings you schedule will require approximately 60% of your time traveling within your local territory, without the need for overnight stays.Manage an accurate sales pipeline within Salesforce and oversee prospecting campaigns using SalesLoft.Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including customer success, technical support, sales support, and training personnel, to deliver an exceptional experience for all customers.Staff and manage booths at local trade shows, present at industry events, host exclusive gatherings for existing and prospective clients, and establish yourself as a trusted local thought leader within the industry.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum 2 years of recent Account Executive sales experience where discovery and/or product demonstrations were done in person with the prospectExperience developing and maintaining personal and meaningful relationships with your current and past customers in-personA deep drive and willingness to learn and continuously improveAssociates or Bachelors degree is not required but preferredExcellent written, oral and in-person communication skillsAbout Wahsega: Wahsega is a fast-growing communications and technology company, doubling revenue annually.
