Audit SeniorPosition OverviewThe Audit Senior plays a crucial role in leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of financial statements and the ability to provide assurance services to clients, particularly in the employee benefits sector.Key ResponsibilitiesLead audit engagements from planning through to completion, managing client relationships and expectations.Perform detailed audits of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.Provide assurance services for employee benefits plans, including 403b, 401K, and related filings.Review and analyze financial documents, including Form 5500, 990T, and 990, to ensure proper reporting and compliance.Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing training and performance feedback.Prepare and present audit reports and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.CPA certification is highly preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in audit, particularly with financial statements and assurance services.Strong knowledge of employee benefits plans and related compliance requirements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage client relationships.Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.BenefitsLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
