The Estimator provides support to the estimating department of an exterior building systems contractor and ensures construction work complies with all engineering standards, codes, and contract documents.Estimator Job RequirementsGathers bid documents and material pricingGenerates detailed bid/proposal submissions.Provides analysis of construction plans and specificationsCollaborate with contractors, engineers, and architectsIdentifies scopes of work for subcontract opportunities and coordinates with subcontractorsEstimator Job QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a related field such as Construction Management or Civil Engineering.5+ years experience in the construction industry with an emphasis on exterior building systems projectsEstimating experience including performing quantity take-offs and discussing work scopes with contractors preferred, but not required.Working knowledge of MS Office including Excel.Working knowledge with digital take-off software (Bluebeam) a plus.Compensation And BenefitsBonus based on performanceHealth and visionUnlimited PTO (with approval)At Goodwin Recruiting we are committed to our core values.
