Buyer Planner

JANUS et Cie currently has an opening for a Buyer Planner to oversee Inventory Management and better improve processes.This position is based in Santa Fe Springs, Ca. Mon-Fri.Salary Range: $68k-$80KRESPONSIBILITIES:Manage the planning, procurement and sourcing recommendations of assigned SKUs to meet Client and production needsWork with suppliers to ensure timely fulfillment of demand requirements and inventory replenishment needsPurchase and schedule finished goods/materials to meet production and sales requirements as neededDetermine optimal inventory level for assigned SKUsContribute to the development of inventory plan and manage performance to plan and targetsAssist with the management of excess and obsolete inventoryAdvise management of market conditions and supply base activity which could affect quality, delivery, or priceAnalyze sales history to identify trends which might impact purchasing requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional team members to resolve issues and streamline processesFlexible hours are requiredPerform additional tasks as assigned by ManagerQUALIFICATIONS:Experience with large scale ERP systemsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel with demonstrated ability to analyze large data setsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to effectively demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills in a collaborative environmentStrong sense of urgency and ability to prioritizeB.S. in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, EngineeringMinimum 3 years of experience in Procurement, Forecasting, or Supply PlanningOUR BRAND VALUES:We listen to our CustomersWe rely on our MembersWe honor IntegrityWe embrace Continuous LearningWe lead with DesignWe create ValueWe make the World Better
