Freelance Technical Designer

Our client is seeking a Technical Designer to join their team on a contract basis in their New York office!Responsibilities:Execute the technical design process from development to final fitResponsible for analyzing and evaluating garments to develop the correct fit specifications.Ensures that products are developed in a manner consistent with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities and cost specifications.Develops technical specifications and communicates fit to vendors/factories for approvals and corrections.Directs Assistant/ Associate Technical DesignersLead fittings and oversee fit commentsPartner closely with the design teamRequirements:4-5+ years of working in Technical DesignExtensive knowledge of garment constructionExamples of tech packs or CAD flatsTechnical fluency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel and PLM systems.Strong written & verbal communication skillsCapable of maintaining organization while handling multiple projects & prioritiesStrong time management & problem-solving skillsPlease submit your resume for consideration.You can use to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose.
