Die Cast EngineerPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Die Cast Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing die casting processes, ensuring high quality and efficiency in production. This role requires a strong understanding of die casting techniques and the ability to work collaboratively to improve processes and reduce rejection rates.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop die cast components and processes to meet production requirements.Optimize die layouts for maximum efficiency and yield.Collaborate with production teams to monitor and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).Implement strategies to reduce rejection rates and improve product quality.Oversee the maintenance and operation of die casting machines and robotic equipment.Conduct root cause analysis on defects and implement corrective actions.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Proven experience in die casting design and engineering.Strong knowledge of die casting processes and layout optimization.Experience with robotic equipment used in die casting.Familiarity with OEE metrics and quality control standards.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.BenefitsWe offer a competitive base of $60-$80k base DOEFull benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision401kPTO/ Paid holidaysEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
