Maintenance Technician Fulfillment

Job Title: Maintenance Technician - FulfillmentPay: $26 - $30 per hourLocation: Cicero, IL (onsite)A facility in Cicero, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support its operations. The Maintenance Technician - Fulfillment is responsible for preventive maintenance (PM), diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairs of tools, conveyors, pneumatic staples, hydraulic equipment, small motors, and general warehouse and facility repairs and maintenance.Essential Job Functions:Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments to repair and perform PM on conveyor systems and pneumatic electrical equipment.Perform maintenance on warehouse equipment such as hot glue machines, glue guns, pinch rollers, tape machines, pneumatic and hand staple guns, balers, heat seal and bagging machines.Assist production lines with machine setups.Handle building maintenance tasks including painting, upkeep of the warehouse, surrounding areas, and grounds; coordinate plumbing repairs with building owners.Keep facility walkways clean of snow and ice during winter.Track and maintain inventory of tools and supplies used in the warehouse, notifying management when supplies are low.Ensure proper storage of cleaning supplies and maintain chemicals in secure areas.Maintain organization and cleanliness of work areas.Follow safety rules and procedures consistently, taking extra precautions during maintenance tasks.Maintain knowledge of electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems through ongoing training and technical reading.Perform other related duties as required.Ensure regular and predictable attendance.Required Education / Experience:High school diploma, GED, or technical/vocational training.Minimum two years of experience in maintenance and repair in an industrial or warehouse environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Skills & Abilities:Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook.Basic understanding of electrical systems and pneumatic equipment.Ability to read a tape measure.Proficiency with hand, power, and specialized tools.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong work ethic with an emphasis on safety.Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions, operating and maintenance manuals, and other documentation in English.Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and employees, and present information in small group settings.Ability to write simple correspondence.Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.Benefits:Year-round employment for job stability.Quarterly attendance bonus.Opportunities for growth, training, and career advancement.Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) with company match.A clean facility featuring state-of-the-art technology.A respectful, team-oriented, and employee-friendly work environment.ABOUT ACCURATE PERSONNELDo you need your next job fast?
