Senior IT Purchasing SpecialistWe have an immediate need for a Senior IT Purchasing Specialist to join a leading global industrial material solutions company for a full-time, permanent position that is hybrid in Cypress. The Purchasing Specialist will perform contract negotiations for technology products and services, including hardware, software, maintenance, and maintenance renewals.Location: Cypress, 2-3 days onsite per weekThis job expects to pay about $100,000-119,000 plus benefits and up to 10% bonus.What You Will Do:Apply extensive knowledge of technology products purchasing, laws, policies, regulations, practices, purchasing methods and proceduresUse judgment to competitively source business critical, high risk, high dollar and/or high visibility technology products and services, including hardware, software, maintenance, and maintenance renewalsIndependently apply advanced knowledge of contracts and terms and conditionsIndependently apply general knowledge of accounting principles and methods in relation to purchasing, performs basic review of contracts and terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with best practicesReviews and analyzes business critical, high risk, high dollar, and/or highly visible purchase requests for accuracy, completeness and compliance to policy.Manages the vendor performance to control cost, drive service excellence and mitigate risk throughout the relationship.Reviews contracts and redline business terms and conditionsAssist legal in understanding business needs or product and/or service for legal review of contractWhat Gets You The Job: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field required10+ years IT purchasing experienceExperience negotiating software, hardware and service agreementsStrong experience with vendor managementKnowledge of technology products purchasing, laws, policies, regulations, practices, purchasing methods and proceduresKnowledge of the process of systematically and efficiently managing contract creation, execution, and analysis for the purpose of maximizing financial and operational performance and minimizing riskExperience with ServiceNow a plusPlease send your resume to Hannah Xu, Senior Technical Recruiter for immediate considerationIrvine Technology Corporation (ITC) is a leading provider of technology and staffing solutions for IT, Security, Engineering, and Interactive Design disciplines servicing startups to enterprise clients, nationally.
