Handyman

We are currently seeking a handyman to fill an available full-time position. The purpose of this position is to perform overall building maintenance and repairs. Candidates must be able to work in a hands-on team environment and provide exceptional resident service.Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.Perform maintenance and repair work on the interior and exterior of the building, and lighting, heating/air conditioning (HVAC) ventilation, water treatment systemsHave basic knowledge of HVAC/ plumbing/ electrical and be able to perform troubleshooting.Perform painting and plasterwork on the interior and exterior of the building Conduct inspections, projects, and maintenance repairs maintain records.Ensure the security of inventory such as tools, supplies, equipment, furniturePreventive maintenance for building systems, rooms, and public spaces.Repair as needed; HVAC systems, handy work, plumbing, plastering, etc.Attend mandatory meetings and/or training as scheduled.Performs any other duties and projects as requested by supervisor.Requirements:2+ years experience as a Handyman or maintenance position in New York.Must have a broad base of experience in several areas such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, preventive maintenance, painting/plastering.Must have experience of 2+ years in painting and plasterwork.Full availability is needed.
