They will be processing the incoming paint cans including sorting, scraping out the contents, and recycling it. The facility is 33,000 square feetThey received household paint cans for recycling Sorters - separate the paints into categoriesProcessors - remove the paint from the cans It is a dirty / physical job dealing with the paint and moving the cansProtective gear will be given to the individuals - glasses, gloves, sleeves, and apron It is an open air warehouse with no heat or ACMust pass a drug and background Must have steel toe bootsOur client is expanding and is now seeking Warehouse Processors for our warehouse located in Syracuse NY We require individuals that are seeking steady, reliable work hours but don't mind getting their hands dirty! We know our employees are the most important part of making any job successful and your safety is our first priority.Responsibilities:Unloading, emptying and separating of paint cansOpening, bulking, scraping and processing waste paint as part of a production lineManagement of empty paint containers to various area within the plantMoving paint materials and needed supplies throughout warehouse; manual labor moving drums, boxes and full/empty cans and pails will be required.Work independently with minimal supervisionMaintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basisLoad and unload supplies and paint from trucks both manually and with the use of equipmentRequirements and Skills:No experience necessary, learn on the jobFulfill all requirements to be employed in the USExperience driving a forklift would be an assetPositive, pleasant attitudeMust be in good physical condition with no limits on bending, stooping, walking, standing
