This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on ground-up hotel construction, for a very reputable and long standing firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction from the field and driving the schedule for a successful project completion. This is a traveling position.Why join us? Competitive Base Pay Bonus Structure Generous PTO Car Allowance Travel Home Schedule (every 2-weeks) Paid by client.Job DetailsJob Details:Responsibilities:Coordinating and supervising all construction activities.Directing all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.Reading and understanding construction documents, including plans, specifications, and contracts.Coordinating with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors.Ensuring all construction work is carried out in accordance with design development and construction documents.Maintaining job site control, including layout, safety, and quality control.Resolving day-to-day problems on the job site, ensuring the project is kept on schedule.Preparing, scheduling, and supervising completion of final punch list.Promoting job site safety, encouraging safe work practices, and rectifying job site hazards immediately.Qualifications:A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.A proven track record of successfully completed high-rise, concrete projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and understanding of building materials, construction equipment, and tools.Proficient in reading and understanding construction documents, including plans, specifications, and contracts.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to travel frequently and for extended periods.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Knowledge of construction health and safety regulations.A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred but not required.Interested in hearing more?
