MUST BE LOCATED IN COMMUTABLE DISTANCE TO CONCORD, NHOverviewThe Account Development Representative position is responsible for growing sales from accounts in their territory; including end-user, dealer and A&D accounts. Representatives are responsible for educating their prospects and customers on the benefits of ergonomics, and leveraging that knowledge in the sale of our products and services.Essential FunctionsEducating, marketing and selling the value of ergonomic workplace solutions to end-users, dealers, architects and designersMaintain appropriate sales activity levels at all times; minimum 10 sales appointments per weekAchieve and exceed revenue, profitability and product mix sales goalsDevelop business plan with management for weekly, monthly and quarterly strategic sales objectivesSet up product tests or demo's for end-users as necessaryFacilitate presentations for prospective clientsCompleting sales activity & opportunity reports, sales order paperwork, installation assistance, and sales training as well as maintaining customer contact databaseServes as a liaison between customer service and the customer on shipment and quality mattersFacilitate dealer training sessions on ergonomics & Humanscale products to dealer sales repsLead strategic business and forecasting discussions with dealer principles to meet dealer sales goals, establish new accounts and grow existing customer salesEstablishing relationships and educating Architect & Design Firms on ergonomic workplace solutionsStrong understanding of all of Humanscale's products and consulting services, including task seating, keyboard supports, flat panel monitor arms, task lighting, CPU holders and other ergonomic work toolsQualification Candidate will have 3-5+ years business sales experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience preferredSuccessful track record of planning and executionWorking knowledge of MS OFFICE and associated applications are requiredAbility for overnight travel regionally 25%Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 poundsMust be able to do repetitive bending and stretchingCandidate must have adequate and dependable transportation to travel to and from customer siteMust have valid driver's license and automobile insuranceMust be able to drive throughout the workdayMust be able to transport company product in personal vehicleBenefitsCompetitive base plus commissionMonthly auto allowanceCell phone, laptop, etc.Medical Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)HSA, FSA, Commuter BenefitsMedical DiscountsAncillary BenefitsAccident, Critical Illness, Hospital InsuranceVoluntary, Spouse, and Child Life InsurancePet InsuranceEmployee Discount Programs401k matchingPaid time off (including 15 PTO days and 9 holidays)Expense budgetHumanscale University sales trainingCompany OverviewHumanscale is the premier designer and manufacturer of ergonomic products that improve health and comfort at work.
