Program Highlights:You will work closely with other Intel disciplines (HUMINT, SIGINT, ELINT, and All-source) in a multi-INT, multi-agency environment. This is a true fused Intel center as all forms of these Intel disciplines will help to drive collection on a day-to-day basis.One of the great things about this program is that our analysis is full-circle; meaning you will see the immediate impact of your work!It is a fast paced environment, but there are down times due to weather and other factors. So, we're looking for self-starters who can take the initiative to conduct additional research, take on special taskings, update target folders, SOPs, and train analysts. It is a high-visibility program so there are frequently VIPs that walk through the spaces. Sometimes our analysts are asked to provide both formal and informal briefings on the work and analysis they perform. All analysts will undergo specialized FMV training and are expected to work on a rotating shift schedule, 24x7, in a dynamic watch floor environment.Job Title: FMV AnalystLocation: Tyson's Corner, VAExpected income range is $86k-$92k/yr for your first year of employment. With the ability to augment, total compensation is uncappedSchedule and Shift: You would be supporting a mission critical, 24-hour operations center. Depending on which office you become assigned to, the hours will be 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am. You would alternate every 6 weeks between days/nights, week days/weekends, and you would work occasional holidays. his is a Mission Essential program.Shifts 12 hour shifts from 0700-1900 or 1900-0700 36 or 48 hours per week which equates to 183/365 days out of the year that you would work. Provided schedule a whole year in advanced to allow you to plan trips, vacations, etc. TShifts rotate every 6 weeks between day shift and night shiftSchedule is 2 on 2 off 3 on 2 off 2 on 3 off. For half the program the schedule looks like the below, the other half is the reverse-Week 1 -> Mo-Tu, Fri -Week 2 -> Sat-Sun, We-ThScreenerAs a Screener, you will be responsible for conducting the immediate analysis and typing everything you see happening on the screen into a system called MAAS. The information you type is called a "˜clip mark', this is essentially a video bookmark with the metadata tied to it so that anyone else who opens the video file can click on the "˜clip mark' and it will go right to this point in activity (this is the reason we ask the typing question and whether you can type without looking at the screen). As events unfold on the screen, the screener will communicate with the customer to solicit feedback into the next steps required by the screener. They also direct the FMV crew in charge of operating the platform and sensor in a manner that will allow for the successful execution of the given Essential Elements of Information via radio, so again there are no delays in chat systems or phone calls. Lastly, the Screener will communicate with their team to ensure the second phase analysts reviews certain portions of the video to further elaborate on events taking place. Reviewer/Second LookThis person is tasked with using a wide range of software applications to exploit FMV feed and create intelligence products for a number of customers. They assist the screener in exploiting the FMV feed and document new relevant information or expand upon the information that has already been documented. They also create mission graphics using still frame shots of FMV feed which is then input into PowerPoint or MAAS DVA. Summary WriterThis analyst creates a detailed synopsis of the activity that took place during their mission. They convey what activity took place in the mission and express whether or not the EEIs were met. They also make final analytical calls on the activity that took place and documents that activity a document called the Mission Summary. This is where your writing skills come into play. Training: There are three phases of training you will go through, two of which you will be required to complete successfully to remain on contract and in the program:The initial training that you must successfully complete is the 3.5 day MITIL (motion imagery training intermediate level) course, which is held at our corporate training center. You will work each mission essential position and have your analytical and communication abilities assessed along with your ability to type with few mistakes. (Participation based, Pass/Fail)The next phase of training is a 10 day fundamentals and program orientation this will take place onsite in the training room. During this time you will be introduced to the program and given a complete overview of what this consists of. You will also be given an overview briefing/buttonology of the systems we use onsite. The last day is a Capstone Exercise that requires an 80% passing grade to complete the course successfully. The last portion of training that you will be required to successfully complete is the 90-day On-the-job training. During this time you will rotate through each position and be trained according to the checklist used onsite. It is not expected that you will become an expert on the mission during this time, but you will be required to demonstrate that you will be able to work each position with no oversight.
