Principal Surface Water Practice Lead

Position OverviewWe are a fast-growing profitable multi-service infrastructure consulting firm offering planning, construction management, civil engineering, and surveying services throughout California. We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to lead our Surface Water Practice team. The Principal Surface Water Practice Lead will be responsible for managing our surface water projects and providing technical leadership to our team.This position has the option of being remote (with the ability to be in an office when necessary), or hybrid based upon your preferred preference.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as Project Manager and/or technical leader on Surface Water projects (including drainage design, floodplain management, water quality, modeling, regulatory/permitting, and program management) Develop, implement and maintain business plans and staffing plans and meet performance metrics for the Surface Water team to increase market share throughout target CA marketsOversee the technical and project financial performance of the Surface Water team, lead quality management of all proposals and work products from Surface Water team membersSupervise and direct staff across technical, management, leadership, and client service skill setsEngage with the Surface Water industry as a contributor and leaderProvide mentorship and guidance to junior staff membersQualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field10+ years of experience in surface water managementProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseStrong technical knowledge of surface water including drainage design, floodplain management, water quality, modeling, regulatory/permitting, and program managementExperience with public works, municipal, infrastructure, and government projectsExcellent project management and program management skillsStrong leadership and communication skillsBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceAD&D and disability benefitsPTO401k planAnnual bonus Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
