Facility Maintenance TechnicianContract duration: 24+ months (high possibility of multiple extensions or Perm hire)Hourly: W2Location: Twinsburg, OHShift: 2nd shift (2:30 PM -11:00pm)Technician shall operate, replace, repair and maintain building related mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and other building mechanical systems. Technician shall receive and respond to service calls and take immediate action to resolve emergency situations or system breakdowns with our facility.qualifications:required mechanical trades or trade school certification in location applicable disciplines (e.g. HVAC, electrical, hydraulics, plumbing)two (2) years of experience in HVAC and a plus if you have experience in; mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or electronic systemsexperience and proven ability to repair building HVAC auxiliary systems.familiarity with general building systems such as vertical lift equipment and overhead doorsstrong knowledge of safe work practices and procedures typical for maintenance operationsability to safely climb ladders, lift heavy objects and perform other physically demanding tasksTechnician shall provide Services which include, but are not limited to:drain and "safe off" systems to facilitate repairsperform minor carpentry tasks, replace ceiling tiles, and repair or replace door hardware, locks, panic bars, etc.perform minor electrical tasks including bulb and ballast replacementoperate and inspect emergency generator and associated componentsrequisition necessary material to complete required repairsPerform routine and preventive maintenance duties including filter changes, lubrication, and checking controls and performance.inspect mechanical and electrical systems, trace electrical circuits, operate switchgear, record inspections, and write reports to supervisors/managementReceive and respond to service calls and provide reports to representative on a daily and weekly basis
