We first opened our doors in 2016, but have since evolved into a national lifestyle brand.PURPOSE // The Interior Designer role will lead assigned design projects with next-level creativity, build lasting relationships with the client, and provide a luxury experience for the client from immersion to final installation. The Interior Designer is an artistic and technical mentor who manages a team of creatives to bring a client's vision to reality. This role will manage administrative tasks, time and project manage, and proactively delegate tasks to keep the design project on and ahead of schedule. OUTLINE // The Interior Designer role is a full-time, exempt, managing position; listed as a direct hire. This position is offered in a Hybrid model, 2-3 days onsite weekly in Newport Beach, CA preferred. The compensation range for this position is $78-85k/annually.DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES // Administrative Tasks // Follows and advocates for company policy and procedure, submits time off requests within notice requirements, maintains accurate project tracking records, communicates regularly with management and follows up through appropriate channels, keeps an organized workspace, and represents the Pure Salt brand each day.Leadership // Leads design projects through the design process. Manages assigned design team support (associate designer, design coordinator, and/or intern, etc.) as a mentor, in time management, and professional and creative development. Serves the team as a role model, and promotes positivity and company inclusion.Presentations // Leads in the creation and delivery of client presentations in design software to communicate concepts, design intent, and drawings. Design decks are reviewed for a polished, thorough, and chronological presentation.Systems // Proficient skills are utilized and shown in project work (Sketchup, CAD, etc.). On-going training and knowledge shared with associate and coordinator employees and interns.Proposals // Reviews all proposals and invoices in Houzz Pro before sending them to the Project + Procurement Manager/Design Coordinator team for review. Send the client all proposals and invoices (minus design hour invoices).Client-facing // Leads client calls and meetings professionally, creatively, and with confidence. Serves as a role model of excellent customer service, and provides constructive notes to elevate the design team's delivery.Budgeting // Maintains an understanding of Job budget and materials knowledge in partnership with clients; including staffing hours internally and externally.Detail-Oriented // Maintains a high level of attention to detail on all parts of the job with the Design Team. Trains up the team and often combs through work product for errors and learning opportunities.Logistics // Partners with the Logistics Director and team on installs. Includes: pulling for installs, checking in install returns, putting install returns away, and adds retail purchases to styling invoiceProduct Knowledge // Has a deep understanding of all Pure Salt product, customization options, and vendor product details. (I.e. HOM, Sole Shades, Etc).Knowledge Share // Develops and Leads Training/knowledge share as opportunities arise.
