From corporate gatherings and product launches to weddings and special events our mission is to create inviting spaces that reflect our clients' visions while promoting sustainability.The RoleWe are looking for a dynamic, people-oriented Events Coordinator to join our headquarters inBerkeley, CA. This full-time position focuses on client interactions, event coordination, andoperational management. It's ideal for someone who thrives in a varied fast-paced environmentand enjoys being the first point of contact for clients, representing our brand and explaining ouro?erings.Key Responsibilities• Serve as a front-facing representative of The Plant Library, interacting professionally withclients, vendors, and team members both by email and phone in addition in person onsite.• Explain our products thoroughly, create estimates, and transition them into orders withproduction documents for our Berkeley studio.• Communicate event details and schedules to sta? and coordinate with the core team andfreelancers.• Provide on-site support for installations as a TPL representative.• Assist with studio organization and maintain quality control of orders to improve e?ciency.• Manage and enhance our sales pipeline for continued growth in the Bay Area.• Support eco-friendly practices through our carbon o?set initiatives.Qualifications• Proven experience in event planning, operations, or a related field.• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work e?ciently underpressure.• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for e?ective collaborationwith internal teams and clients.• Track record of managing multiple projects with precision and attention to detail.• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.• Proficiency in scheduling software, gmail suite, quickbooks, adobe suite.• Flexibility in hours, including some weekends and evenings.The Ideal Candidate• Outgoing and personable, with a passion for client and team engagement.• Customer-service oriented and self-motivated, able to take on significant responsibilities.• Diligent and proactive in o?ering solutions for improvement.• Enthusiastic about plants and event design.• Creative problem-solver who can think quickly and adapt to changing circumstances.• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.• Able to handle confidential information responsibly.Benefits• Competitive salary commensurate with experience.• Health insurance, 401k, and vacation package.• Opportunity to work with diverse plants in a creative environment.To apply, please send your resume and a cover letter detailing why you're the right fit forthis role to info@.
