Strong skills in coaching and development are a must.Position OverviewThe Production Supervisor for 2nd/3rd shift will oversee the production processes during off-peak hours, ensuring quality and efficiency in manufacturing operations. This role is critical for maintaining production schedules, managing staff, and implementing best practices to optimize production output while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and lead the production team during the 2nd/3rd shift to ensure optimal performance.Monitor production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.Ensure compliance with quality standards, including FDA, USDA, and ISO regulations.Manage production schedules and coordinate with other shifts to maintain efficient operations.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development for team members.Oversee waste control measures and strive for production efficiencies.Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance activities as needed.QualificationsProven experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of production processes and machinery, including steam tunnels, liquid fill, wipes, and rotary fill systems.Experience with quality control standards and regulatory compliance (FDA, USDA, ISO).Ability to analyze production data and make informed decisions to optimize efficiency.Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage and motivate a team.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.We are actively interviewing, so apply today!Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and prescription drug coverage.
