The Trusts & Estates attorneys counsel families and individuals regarding the administration and disposition of their estates through basic and sophisticated lifetime, estate and charitable planning. Attorneys in this department also work on closely held business and tax exempt matters. Missouri law license required.The ideal candidate will have experience and abilities in the following areas:Estate, gift, GST, and other tax laws attendant to this line of work.Estate/wealth planning techniques, including preparation of related documents (revocable/irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorneys, etc.).Probate and trust administration.Premarital agreements.Research and analysis of complex state law and federal tax law issues.Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.Billable hour requirement is 1700 per year. However, they also allow for up to 100 hours of PD/BD/firm investment credit, and up to 50 hours of pro-bono work. So not all straight client billable time.Interested in hearing more?
