Human Resources Manager

Well established manufacturing company located in the York PA area is looking for an experienced HR Manager to oversee all HR activities for a 600 person union facility. Duties will also include handling grievances and supporting in contract negotiations. Need someone with a Bachelor's degree with a strong generalist background in manufacturing and union experience. Candidates who do not have manufacturing and union experience will not be considered. Looking for a strong, hands on leader who knows how to manage, coach, and mentor a team of people. Must have prior experience handling union grievances and supporting contract negotiations with union. Excellent interpersonal and continuous improvement experience. Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience would be helpful. Will only consider people who are use to working in a large plant or have supported multiple plants.
