Essential FunctionsCreates custom websites using theme frameworks with custom HTML/CSS; builds sites using WordPress CMS and other platforms as appropriate.Serves as advanced-level front-end developer to deploy content.Maintains and modifies the front-end of the Glidewell website in Adobe CMSMaintains & updates the e-commerce's front-end UI and inform the development team of any bugs or technical issues identifiedReviews data gathered from analytical tool to suggest future UX modificationsIdentifies, suggests, and creates appropriate, branded design concepts for content across various digital channels; creates visual layout and templates for pages and sites with clear navigational schemes.Creates all content, article pages, article images, and banner images for digital iterations of Chairside magazine.Creates and maintains CE tests for websites.Produces design assets for use in digital marketing channels, for both Company and third-party affiliate delivery channels; evaluates third-party requirements and technical specifications to ensure consistency with Glidewell brands.Optimizes custom graphic elements and iconography as required to ensure proper structure and compatibility with modern browsers and devices; maintains functionality for legacy browsers and devices.Sources related imagery to create the client's story in a compelling and impactful way; creates and maintains a database of current and future design assets to ensure efficiency and consistency.Modifies PHP templates as needed; understands the structure and correct way to modify within WordPress and other platforms.Applies a creative eye and user experience (UX) awareness to projects; tests and improves site usability and performance on a variety of internet browsers by identifying and correcting issues.Addresses and repairs bugs or other performance issues discovered in live sites.Ensures quality and consistency of designs across channels, developing or adhering to brand guidelines established in other mediums.Studies current and emerging technology trends; makes recommendations to management regarding software platforms, APIs, plug-ins, and other tools that may help to increase quality or efficiency of content.Engages with other departments to assess projects, needs, and timelines.Participates in planning meetings and/or conference calls as necessary.Tracks time and project progress through organization's system of record.Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum six (6) years of experience creating websites and digital content for various channels.Experience in CMS (Shopify, WordPress, Liquid) requiredExperience with Adobe Experience Manager Sites, highly preferredExperience in React or React Native, requiredExperience in Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Node.JS, requiredExperience developing back end technologies in headless environment, requiredExperience in Python, nice to havePay Range: $37.81 to $50.00/hrGlidewell Laboratories is the industry leader in dental technology due to our agility, speed, and cutting edge technology.
