Maintenance Technician - Afternoon Shift

The Maintenance Technician is a senior-level position responsible for providing diagnosis and repair support of assembly and test equipment, as well as support facilities maintenance activities. Operating independently with little or no supervision, diagnoses and repairs a variety of manufacturing and test equipment.Fabricate equipment utilizing machine shop toolsRebuild toolsRobot diagnosis and trouble shooting. Ability to modify robot programs. Engages Controls Engineering when the technician deems it necessary. Read controls and outputs as needed. Read and interpret test equipment indicators, including electrical and mechanical prints and multi-meters. Ability to easily maneuver through HMI interfacesWork with production to correct quality problems as well as continuous improvement projectsRequired to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties upon request of the supervisorComplies with the following OSHA Safety Standards: Hazard Communication; Blood borne Pathogens; Lockout; Permit Required Confined Space; Hot Work Permit; Powered Industrial Trucks; P.P.E. and ErgonomicsMust be physically present in the plant during specified working hours, unless instructed otherwise by supervisor, and be able to rotate to other work areas as instructed.
