ASIC/FPGA Design Engineer Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled ASIC and FPGA Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and verification of complex ASICs and FPGAs. This role involves working closely with various customers, including hardware and system engineers, to deliver cutting-edge products.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and development of ASIC and FPGA architectures based on system specifications.Implement and optimize digital designs using Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog.Develop testbenches and perform simulation and synthesis to ensure functionality and performance.Collaborate with software, hardware, and system engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of designs.Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.Participate in design reviews and provide technical feedback and recommendations.Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in ASIC and FPGA design.Propose and implement improvements in design methodologies and processes.Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices for ASIC and FPGA design.Experience:3+ years of experience in ASIC and FPGA design and verification.Proven experience with hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog).Familiarity with FPGA tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Altera Quartus, or similar.Strong understanding of digital design principles and methodologies.Experience with simulation and verification tools like ModelSim, Questa, or similar.Proficient in timing analysis, synthesis, and static timing verification.Knowledge of embedded systems, microprocessors, and hardware/software co-design.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in high-speed digital design and signal integrity analysis.Familiarity with hardware security concepts (e.g., encryption, secure boot).Experience with machine learning accelerators or other specialized processing units.Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Type: FulltimeLocation: Rocklin, CA (Hybrid Schedule)Salary Range$100,000-170,000Submit resumes to Jobs@Diane You408.550.2800 x130
