Job DescriptionAircraft Interiors TechnicianSalary: $27+/hourLocation: Windsor Locks, CT 06096Industry: AviationShiftsMonday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm (3-day weekends!)Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent3-5 years of Interiors removal and installation experience on corporate aircraftDemonstrated ability to break down cabinets, remove hardware, inlay etc. required.Demonstrated ability to strip finish utilizing heat and scraper.Prior experience with sanding and prepping raw veneer and hardwood for finish, including touching up defects in veneer.Demonstrated ability to mix, match, and apply stains and paints on new veneers.Knowledgeable on spraying polyester base coats and urethane top coatsPrior experience with Aircraft touch upDemonstrated ability to mask and unmask components for finish processMechanical aptitude and ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.Ability to communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status.Basic computer skills.
