Job SummaryGrowing employment law firm in the Los Angeles area, considered a powerhouse in the field of plaintiff's side wage-and-hour class action litigation, seeks a highly-qualified case manager to join its expanding team. The firm has a robust caseload, in federal and state courts, against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies in multiple industries. Focusing on the prosecution of consumer and employment class and representative actions, involving wage-and-hour, unfair business practice, discrimination, and false advertising matters. The firm has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of thousands of employees and consumers in California.The Case Manager will have frequent client contact and should have experience with medical records review and analysis. The Case Manager will assist clients with medical providers, prepare files to submit demand letters and provide excellent client service. Our caseload is growing and the ideal candidate for this position is organized, professional, responsible, and committed to helping us meet all our clients' needs.Duties/ResponsibilitiesInitiating and maintaining client contact on a regular basisFully investigate each case, gathering, and analyzing intake information and relevant documents.Schedule and calendar appointments, explain procedures and related documentation to clients.Continuously monitor case status, and recommendationsRequest records on an ongoing basis, review and analyze recordsOrganize and maintain case files, preparing files to be submittedPerforms other related duties as assignedThe company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.Required Skills/AbilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Manage a large volume of cases at a time.Litify or Salesforce Experience is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Legal Studies or related field preferred.Legal: 5 years (Required)Case Management: 5 years (Required)Physical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Employment Type: Full-timeWork Location: In personWork remotely: NoSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurance
