Our structure allows us to respond quickly to client needs, develop solutions that address complex challenges, avoid the limitations of bureaucracy, and attract talented individuals who are driven to succeed.Responsibilities:Help manage the fixed income supervision and surveillance programEnsure written supervisory procedures and supervisory structure are accurateAssist the trading desk with real time questionsEvaluate industry enforcement actions and regulatory changes relevant to CantorReview historical activity to help regulatory responsesConduct new hire training and targeted training with sales and tradingConduct electronic communications reviews on behalf of supervisorsQualifications:2-4 years' experience with a focus on fixed income surveillance and advisoryUnderstanding of fixed income market structure, sales and trading best practices, and TRACEFamiliarity with order management systems such as Bloomberg TOMS and surveillance tools Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to effectively analyze, organize and prioritize workflow according to internal and external deadlinesFast learner with a proactive and team-oriented mindsetAbility to work professionally and confidentiallySIE, Series 7 and Series 24 required for role but not a pre-requisiteEducational Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree requiredHybrid Working - We are currently operating a hybrid model for our shared services employees (including this role). We anticipate continuing these arrangements for the foreseeable future with periodic review. Hybrid for BGC Partners across the working week, means three days office based and two days remote.Salary: $100,000- $120,000The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
