Controls EngineerPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to manage and enhance our manufacturing processes within a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLCs, HMI systems, and electro-mechanical components, focusing on process optimization, equipment efficiency, and facility support.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement control systems for manufacturing equipment and processesDevelop and maintain PLC and HMI programsConduct predictive and preventative maintenance on control systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process efficiencyTroubleshoot and resolve issues with electro-mechanical drive systems, pneumatics, and hydraulicsSupport facility infrastructure and ensure reliable operation of assembly machineryLead corrective design efforts to enhance system performanceUtilize Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize processesPerform SPC analysis to ensure quality control and process improvementQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldProven experience with PLC, HMI, and vision control systemsFamiliarity with Wonderware and other automation softwareStrong knowledge of electro-mechanical drive systems, including AC and DC motorsExperience with starters, speed controls, and assembly machineryBackground in predictive maintenance and preventative maintenance techniquesUnderstanding of flexible packaging and converting operationsProficient in analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens, Drives, VFD, and Servo systemsFamiliarity with AutoCAD 2D for control system designBenefitsLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
