Controls Engineer

Location: Granite City, IL (Onsite)Salary: $80-125kPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation and control engineering, with a focus on improving system efficiency and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop control systems for manufacturing processes.Troubleshoot and optimize existing control systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems.Develop and maintain documentation for control system designs and modifications.Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure compliance with operational standards.Provide technical support for troubleshooting and maintenance of control systems.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in control system design and implementation.Strong knowledge of HMI, VFD, and PLC programming.Experience with Allen Bradley, AutoCAD, and Kinetix drives.Familiarity with Studio 5000, Factory Talk, and PowerFlex.Understanding of Siemens and NFPA79 standards.Knowledge of NEC, UL698, and UL508A codes.Experience with GuardLogix Controllers, Simatic, and Fluid Power Design.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.BenefitsMedical insurance with prescription coverageDental Insurance Flex spending account Vision insuranceLife insurance 9 paid company holidays Paid time off401K with company matchEducation assistance program Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
